Setting up the BASE

Tell the base what rover to broadcast to

    Use the command
    ATS53=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/p
    Where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of the rover, this is required.
    P is the port number, it just need to be the same as used in the rover
     

Enable Rs-232 to internet conversion

    use the command
    ATS50=1
    to reduce the time to make a packet.

 

Set into listen mode

    Use the command
    ATS83=2
    to set the modem into listen mode.

 

Ignore flow control

    Use the command
    ATS211=2
    to assume DTR.
     

Set the default power up mode

    Use the command
    ATMD3
    To set the default mode on power up

     

Save the changes so they are used on power up

    Use
    AT&W
    To save the settings

 

Now when he base is turned on it will automatically send data to the rover, the CMR output must already be enabled. If the base modem does not get data for 30 seconds it needs to be powered off and restarted
