With a 5700 you should be able to use the 37779 Rev B cable directly, assuming your phone can assume DTR high.

With a 4700 rover and V7.7 you should be able to use a 37779 REV B cable directly assuming that you can turn off flow control

With a 4700 base, you are going to have to create a base cable
