BaseTest

gThe Base Test system is used to test the behaviour of the modem as base modem.

The following screen is displayed

Select the port that the modem is connected to.

Detect the modem at 9600,19200,38400. If you edon't detect the modem then an attempt will be made to detect it at 19200.

Select the option from the Wait For Connection menu that you want to test. Start from the top

The Send Data while answering test is very important, as most modems will fail this.

Use the ModemDial program to call into the modem that is being tested.
